Facebook launched a new Java based app named “Facebook for Every Phone”, a common app for all devices. So if any device which supports Java runtime, the app will work fine, user no need to install a specific app for Facebook.

This Java app will work on over 2,500 handsets across the world. it uses very little bandwidth compared to other Facebook applications. Also this app is easy to use and simple to access all the Facebook features. It’s the full featured app, so you can use all the features as on Facebook web.

Anyone can download the app from http://d.facebook.com/install on your phone’s web browser or users can simply head over to the mobile version of Facebook (m.facebook.com) on their browsers and scroll down to the bottom to find the download link.
